Freedom

“I want freedom for the full expression of my personality.” Mahatma Gandhi

It’s our birthright to experience a genuine, vibrant and purposeful life, but most of us fail to gasp it and thus sink into the fear mind based thinking pattern.  But what is freedom exactly and how do we find it?

The most important kind of freedom is to be what you really are. You trade in your reality for a role. You give up your ability to feel, and in exchange, put on a mask.
Jim Morrison

For me being free is to speak my truth, to be authentic version of myself wherever I find myself.  As a traveler I used to feel that I had to change so that I could fit into my “new” environment… this made me feel very uncomfortable and not FREE at all.  But

Once I had my breakthrough things shifted.  I can be free by being me all the time.  I also get a sense of freedom when I go an nurture myself in nature, hiking by the waterfalls, swimming in the ocean and watching the sun set.  I experience freedom when I get to decide how I react to what people say and do.  I feel free when I realize I choose my thoughts.  I feel free knowing that I get to choose who my friends are and who I choose to spend my time with.  A true sense of freedom is feeling safe.   I recently moved to Costa Rica,  I feel safe here and this gives me a sense of freedom.

I also believe conformity is the jailer of true freedom.  Why conform, why settle for anything else than the BEST?  Why stay in a relationship that does no longer serve you, why stay at a job that no longer excites you?  Why eat food that does not nourish you and gives you energy?  I believe freedom can be measured; by the number of things we can walk away from… can you walk away or are you stuck?

So much love, light and freedom

Natashia

Every single day you have an opportunity to express yourself as you truly are. Allow your kindness, your light, your divinity, your love to  lead the way, Dear Ones. They are all your truth and to see that truth is spectacular. ~Archangel Gabriel
